We are at the end of the pilgrimage to Ahobilam. Today's [25th December 2008] Divine name Vishrutatma is dedicated to Sri Chatravata Narasimha, facing East. Banyan [vata] tree is umbrella [chatra] to Him. The corresponding Mantra Rajan name is Mrityumrityu.
Those desiring to excel in music, should worship Sri Chatravata Narasimha. Two Gandarvas [Haha and Huhu], came here and worshiped and got the blessings to excel in music. They worshiped by nama sankeertanam. We can see the face of the Lord pleased to hear music. Swami Annamacharya, sishya of Swami Adivan Satokopa, has composed lyrics in praise of the Lord. This sannidhi is in Lower Ahobilam, on the way to Sri Yogananda Narasimha. The Lord is seated with abhaya hastam and with smiling face.
To help, especially students in the ensuing examinations, Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva, worshiped by Saraswati Devi, Swami Ramanuja and Swami Desika, is gracing the citizens of Chennai, at Sri Ahobila Mutt Oriental school, K.R. Street, West Mambalam, on 27th and 28th, December 2008. All are requested to come and recieve His blessings.
