SVS 154 [Viswayoni: - 151] (16.9)

151. OM VISWAYONAYE NAMA: विस्वयोनये नम:
He is the Cause of the Effect Universe so formed by those Two.

We are at Ramagiri, near Devarmalai. Here we can worship Sri Kalyana Narasimha. From here we can reach nearby Kadavur, where we can worship Sri Karuna Narasimha. To the lecturer [UVe Sri Ananthapadmanabhachariyar] the Lord Sri Kalyana Narasimha blessed to compose a sloka incorporating all the Nine Divine names in Sri Mantraraja:
Ugraroopaya veeraya vishnave anupatejate Sarvastitaya simhaya sri nrusimhaya mangalam| Bhimaya bhadra roopaya mrutyu kalaya devate Kalyanapura vasaya sri nrusimhaya mangalam||
By worshiping all the three Kshetrams in the same day, starting from Devar malai, followed by Sri Kalyana Narasimha and Sri Karuna Narasimha, all our miseries would certainly vanish. All these three Kshetrams form a Triangle. In Ramagiri, the Lord is gracing with Sri MahaLakshmi and so is in Kalyana pose. Kalyana suggests auspiciousness or mangalam or bhadram. In fact, Bhadram denotes Sri Narasimha. This temple also is being renovated. We have seen that the Lord is the Prime Cause for everything. In Swami Madhvacharya Bhashyam, this Divine name Viswayoni is interpreted to mean Garuda. Of all the festivals in any temple the Lord on Garuda vahanam is very important. Here in Ramagiri, outside the temple are the sannidhi of Garuda and Anjaneya. Lighting lamps on modhakam and decorating with jasmine garland on Fridays, in the sannidhi of Garuda, will ensure the fulfillment of our desires. In Panguni Uthram, the Lord graces Brahmotsavam. We have to note that Garuda vahanam is unique for the Lord alone. Garuda is considered embodiment of Vedas. So, He is the Lord realized in Vedas. Viswayoni is the Lord seated on Garuda.
