SVS 184 [Anirdeshyavapu: - 179] ( 19.5)

179. OM ANIRDESHYAVAPAVE NAMA: ॐ अनिर्देश्य वपवे नम:
Possesses incomparable Divine Auspicious Image [திவ்ய மங்கள விக்கிரகம்].

Swami Desika is considered as the incarnation of the Bell [घंठावतारा திருமணி அவதாரம்] in Sri Venkatachalapathi sannidhi in Thirumala. He was born in Purattasi Thiruvonam [today, 5th November 2008, is also Thiruvonam day!]. Because of Brahmotsavam in Purattasi in Thirumala, Swami Desika's birth day is celebrated on Aippasi Thiruvonam at his sannidhi near Sri Govindaraja Perumal temple in Thiruppati. Anirdeshyavapu means the Lord possesses an image which has no comparison. When Sri Rama entered Mithila town, He was a feast to the eyes. Poet Kamba says that those who saw His arms saw those only; those who saw His feet, saw them alone. That is the beauty of each part of His body was so captivating that they could not see other parts! [தோள் கண்டார் தோளே கண்டார்!]. Anjaneya is puzzled as to how to describe the beauty of the Lord to Sri Sita. Upanishads say that words and mind return without able to describe Him! Alwars faint while imagining the Lord's image. Those never forgetting His beauty would never be reborn [வடிவழகு மறவாதார் பிரவாதாரே!].
